There are three questions. This is my personal opinion. If might grammar is bad you will have to live with it.
Super black holes
Believe veteran not they are our neighbors. And they live in the galaxy next door. They are super black holes galaxy killers. And we've had one next door to us. How long before we get sucked into it are we helpless if they are so big and so powerful. That even light can not escape the gravitational power of the black hole.. #1 The question is are we going to get sucked into a black hole. #2 Is there life on the other side of a black hole #3 And are both sides the same.

Ahhh..... what a debate....its different. Well for 1. maybe I don't know like aska ninja says anything is possable, but it is not likely, but it would sure be a cool way to die 2. Maybe, I dont believe or disbelieve in alien life but it goes back to askaninja. 3. ditto with the other two maybe but probably not. This one is going to get some interesting posts.... Well, it has been scientifically proven that Black Holes DO in fact move. Actually, there is a colossal black hole in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy (The one we are in) and I guess it is possible that we could get sucked into it. The odds of that happening in any remote time line are are extremely unlikely. A few noticeable properties of black holes is that they absorb everything that it possibly can, even energy such as light cannot escape a black hole. Also, nobody knows what happens when something is sucked into a black hole, so who can possibly tell?

but it would sure be a cool way to die Not really. After you cross the event horizon you being stretched out by the gravity of the hole. Once you reach the singularity of the black hole you are compressed by the extreme gravity of it. You are also being pulled apart atom by atom. Sounds a little painful to me. Is there anything on the other side of the blackhole? There might be, but I don't think a human would be able to survive the trip due to the gravity extremes.

Id have to agree. that would be very pain full,it ,in my opinion, would be like the glass incident from the Final Destination part, just magnified. And as for something being on the other side, thats possible. then again there might not be another side and its just compressed matter in one spot. Who knows? If we do ever get the technology to build something that can withstand the force of a black hole thought, the discoveries we could find would be interesting though =)

Wow, ok great topic there 125man, I've been into this subject ever since i was a little kid
Galaxies are held to gether by super masive black holes, the thing about these black holes is that they can only abosrb has much engery as it can bring in. With this said there is tons of mass towards the center of the galaxy so that it will be billions if not trillions of years before we even start seeingn the effects of the massive black hole. We have been able to see stars flying around the center of the galaxy to show us that this black hole is there. now the theory that there is a black hole near us? that is not possible for black holes require matter to be absorbed and if it can not absorb any mass it turns into a neutron star that will sit there with it's super dense sphere spinning at extreme speeds till it later turns into a white darf star or just blow up into a supernova creating it's own nebula for stars to grow and planets to form and what not.
Now to answer the questions. #1 The question is are we going to get sucked into a black hole. Not likely, there is no star anywhere near us that is massive enough to develope into a black hole except our very own star. Even the sun will probably not turn into a black hole. but it's the closest to becoming one. #2 Is there life on the other side of a black hole Now this topic is very controversial. When you enter the event horizon time starts slowing down to the point where time nearly stops, now time on the inside is going to the point of time stopping, while we see it as normal onthe outside. so the theory is that when the black hole is done absorbing this material that it's spit right back out so that no matter is really lost, then there's the idea that the matter absorbed is shot through a white hole (which is thought to be the other side of a black hole) #3 And are both sides the same. White holes are only theory and haven't been proven yet

1. Its likely that we will eventually get sucked in to a black hole, becuase i think that the natural movement of the galaxy gradually sucks stuff in at all times. But it wouldn't be for at least a few billion years.
2. Its hard to know. If it acts as a portal, then maybe alien life. if it acts as just a big mass of gravity, i doubt it.
3.I dunno what u mean by both sides, but either way i doubt both sides are the same.
