because you're the only one constantly reviving old threads and if you notice filak's warning was addressed to everyone

I know it's long, but I suggest you read this road. As I have said before, and I quote, Because you apparently didn't get it the first time, please allow me to try again. First of all, there are basic common rules and guidelines that anybody familiar with forums already knows. Apparently you don't know them, so let me tell them to you. Please note that these are in addition to the general server rules which also apply here. 1.) Don't revive old threads unless you have something useful/important to add to the conversation. "I agree" does not count. You can tell if it's an old thread by looking at the date of the last post. You can decide for yourself what is "old", but use common sense. if it's been a few weeks since the last post and all you want to say is "lol yeah that was cool", it might not be the best idea. For instance, if you wanted to post in last year's "happy thanksgiving day" thread, by all means. But do so in November, not August. 2.) Don't double post. Forum regulars hate it. HAAAAATE IT. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE it. And while it might not seem like a big deal, after you've spent as much time on forums as me and filak and muffin etc (to name a few), it gets old reeeeealy fast. That is why there are Edit buttons, or in the case of this forum, Modify buttons. It's up there right next to quote and delete, and you're the only one (apart from admins) who can edit or delete your posts. Also, you need to master the art of copy and paste (AKA ctrl C for copy and ctrl V for paste). That makes Quoting multiple people easy as pie. What you do is quote one person, copy the text, hit the back button and quote the next person. Paste the first quote in there with the second and you're good to go. 3.) Try not to go off topic. I know it happens sometimes, but when it does you need to recognize it and get back on topic or start a new thread. Threads have in the past been derailed to the point of insanity and eventually have to be closed, and it's not fair to the thread's owner. 4.) Post threads where they belong. This goes along with not going off topic. I'll elaborate further down. Speaking of the EDIT button, EDIT: Concerning your post: rugal and tsumeti i know i shouldnt have posted this in the debate and in the general instead, but, to argue my side for 3 things: 1: this is america and im exersising my freedom of speach, 2: I would think as long as im not doing anything "wrong" it wouldnt be a problem would it? and 3: I dont mean to be a not a very nice person when i say this, but, if ya dont like it ya know u dont have to read it...just saying. I know im probably gona get some flack for saying that, but, im not going to take this nuts from people anymore. 1.) You live in America. These are private servers and it is a privilege for you to be here, not a right. Freedom of speech has absolutely 0 leverage here. Don't try to excuse your actions with the US constitution, it's annoying and we hear it all the time. 2.) It's not that you are doing anything specifically wrong, you're just being annoying. We don't like annoying. These rules are not set in stone, like "if you double post you get a 24 hour ban from the forums". It is called forum Etiquette for a reason, because this is the way you should behave on the forums regardless of punishment. It is a social standard, those who don't follow basic forum etiquette are often ridiculed by their piers. Those who after several screw ups still don't get the idea are usually subject to admin intervention, which is what Filak was talking about. 3.) It doesn't matter if we read it or not, you need to post it in the right sections. The debate section is for serious debate, and to a lesser extent advice. The key word here is serious. Silly threads like " What should I do today" should be posted elsewhere. As for your "you don't have to read it" idea, that's not the point. The point is we shouldn't have to read it. The simple fact is that the debate section isn't the place for threads like that.
And lastly, you are not the only one doing it as Filak and others have already said, but because you are the main offender and because you choose to make it about you, you get the spotlight. It doesn't have to be this way dude, you can change your habits and become a valuable member of the community like so many others before you, but you have to make the decision, nobody can do it for you.
