Are there other gametypes in UT3?

There are, in fact, several BR, IGBR, Double Domination and Invasion servers running. However, you have to be able to see custom servers. In order to do this, follow the instructions provided by {UR}Scorpion:

In order to possibly help others that might stumble across this info, I have included below the contents of a file I created to view the "Other" game types in your UT3 browser. If you have setup and played Galtanor's locally, you should already be set.

Create the following file in your "Config" folder on your local machine. This will allow you to have an "Other" game mode show up in your browser. For UT3 this means everything else but the standard types.

Name the file whatever you like as long as it ends in "INI". The friendly mode name will be what is displayed. Some of this info is probably not necessary but limited testing at this point.

I have also heard assualt is being created, which is good. So what are people waiting for. UT3 is now stable, good maps, a fair amount of maps and the other stuff is starting to fall into place.
