Can we set up a server for CSS? Or TF2? Or any real source game? We are sadly un-balanced as far as source games go...we don't have any... Could we get something set up? Please?

Uh we host 2 very popular HL2 mod servers. Zombie Master and Empires. The TF2 server was taken down due to lack of players. I can rehost TF2 or put up a CS:S server as long as people will populate it. What kind of servers would you like to see?

there used to be a lot of botting in CS:S dunno if it can be prevented the way it can be in TF2

I love CS:S. I would play on the server all the time. I had one up for a while.

It'll be easier to populate a CS:S server but in my experience, the people it'll attract may be less than favorable...

Yeah, I'd always be in any TF@ or CSS server that we have up and running, and I'd be willing to do my best to get it populated. There is alot of botting and such, but I think if we have people in IRC watching and at least 1 Mod ingame most of the time we'll be good. I'm always on IRC when I'm home, I'd be more than willing to keep watch.
As far as what I'd like to see, anything really. I'm still kinda new to CS:S, I'm sure others would be able to give better ideas than myself. But there are some really great maps out there.
And maybe it's just me, but I don't really consider the HL2 mods real games. They lack alot of stuff that makes them interesting in the long run. TF2 and CS:S however, they are amazing.

Yeah that's the only problem i can see behind a CSS server is it would need like half the server being admin in order to even keep it under control. Currently running a TF2 is impractical for populating it would be way to hard.
If you don't mind Woozle in telling what ZM and/or Empires is missing to be an actual game.

They are just very limited, that and I also am just not a big fan of Mods usually. Personal preference more than anything.

Well, we could block sprays, and then it would be okay. A botter comes along about as much as UT2004, and it does have VAC. As long as we watch IRC we should be okay.

well in tf2 you can block everything custom, allow everything, or allow only if it matched a file on the server

Practically everyone who plays Counter Strike is a jackass. If watching people play it on youtube is an indicator of anything, people CONSTANTLY aimbot and people CONSTANTLY are trying to be offensive to one another. From what my friend tells me, its 10 times worse than Xbox Live.
