well i am not a democrat but even though mcain shouldn't be a president i would say he should win
i also think that it shouldn't be a battle between an african american or a woman to be president

Who deserves it? At the moment, I think I'm supporting Wayne Allyn Root. I voted for Ron Paul in the Florida primary, and obviously, he didn't win it. As for who will win, I think Obama has it pretty much wrapped up. Despite Clinton's refusal to concede, Obama will most likely win the nomination. In modern general elections, the more charismatic candidate wins, regardless of just about anything else.

I want to vote for Rudy Guilliani (dont know if i spelled name right). He has alot of past experience in politics, and truly helped with 9-11 came around. Too bad he isnt in the race anymore...

I'm not sure I'd consider a lot of experience in politics to be a good thing when considering a candidate - it tends to make them corrupt. What, exactly did Guiliani do after 9/11 that was helpful? The emergency workers from the area don't seem to think he was very helpful.

wolf, here is a question for you, Do you think that the president of the USA, if they had asked Saddam to please surrender and go to prison for murdering many people, ohh and while your at it shut down your whole government, and let us build you a new one or we will invade your country and kill all of your citizens.
Do you think that Saddam would have given up? Lol its far fetched.... No matter what Saddam would have gone to prison, there is no questioning or negotiating that.... And as the ruler of Iraq at the time... he would have probably gone straight to war with us.
And if it was not a suprise that we were going to attack, the war could have been on our turf. imagine how horrible that would have been.
So what i am saying, is that if Obama swears that if he was going to go to war he would talk it over with a corrupt murderous leader before actually attacking. I think the consequences would be alot worse just because now the leader is starting to plan an attack on us also. Not just the US planning on on them....

Saddam Hussein was a bad man and I am glad that he is dead. That said, you seem to be implying that he was somehow our problem, or that we are or should act as the world's police force. Please tell me which of these positions you are taking so I can know what I'm trying to refute.
You also seem to be implying that Iraq had the capacity to wage war against the US on our "turf". Considering how quickly the organized military of Iraq fell to US forces, that seems unlikely.

#2 how do you tell if they are lying are telling the truth. It's easy to know if a politician is lying - just look to see if his mouth is moving.

As for who is going to win the Democratic Nomination, I think Barack Obama pretty much has the upper hand because of his charisma, as Z has already stated. As for who I want to win, pretty much nobody. I personally think America was robbed when Al Gore lost the election back in 2000. Hell, I would have voted for him if I had the chance back then.
As for the "Experience" debate, it really doesn't have anything to do with being a leader of a country. Time Magazine released an interesting article not too long ago about how much political experience each president had. While a lot of the more "experienced" presidents did alright, some pretty much failed to live up to their "experience". Some of the lesser "experienced" presidents managed to lead the country quite well while some of them completely tanked. So "Political Experience" really doesn't have that much of a factor of how good a president is going to be, because serving in congress and being a president are two completely different ballgames.

Either way, they all make mistakes ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) But when I do have my say with politics, I always sway in the general direction of the democratic party, since it is, for the people. I rather we have a president that cares about the country and not just economic standing alone. So, my vote would most likely go for Obama. (too bad im too young to vote, eh? ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) )

Considering how quickly the organized military of Iraq fell to US forces, that seems unlikely. The point of the matter is, that no matter what, if Iraq forces came to america to take over DC, there would still be deaths and fighting on our turf that we didnt know about. I just kind of feel that it is rediculous to think that asking someone to go to prison, or even be killed for what they have done in the past is going to be a peaceful time. Wars exist, they will always exist, there is no such thing as utopia unless all of our freedoms are stripped away from us. .... I hate putting up my opinion in a public forum... It always gets me -1 ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) I completely agree look i have -8 for stating my opinions in a debate.... Guys, these are opinions, if you dont like them... tough, everyone has opinions and you need to live with that. No need to smite people for giving opinions that you dont like. But, if others do it... well....

I am saying that it shouldn't be race against sex I have no problem with an African or a women being president just it's kind of putting people in a position to be ridiculed if they don't vote for a women then again if they don't vote for a African they would also be ridiculed and some people would think that there is still racism in presidency. See I thought that romney would have been good, but then he dropped out even though he won the Minnesota cuacesses (I don't know if that is spelled right). But he also one other states too. If I remember correctly he was in first place with the republicans.
