It depends on whether there is a vowel following the Mc. When there is a vowel, it's "Mack". When there's a consonant, it's "Mick" with the "i" being a shcwa.

Definitely "Mickdonalds". You don't call it "Macky D's" either. I have an aunt that's been a manager at MickDonalds for years, everything is McThis, McThat. We gotta go to the McStore, here have some McToast. Go clean your McRoom.

Due to different pronunciations over here in crazy England, we call it MuckDonalds.

It's obviously McDonalds(pronounced: MICKdonalds) because thats the way it's always been and Mc's sound like MICK and since MacDonalds(MACKdonalds) sounds different and is pronounced differently. It says right on their name "McDonalds" not MAcDonalds.

It's not obviously anything, a 'Mc' before a name can be pronounced in a number of ways.

I believe its Mickdonalds. I mean isn't that how you pronounce it for Scottish people with mc? Like Mcduff sounds like Micduff am I right? I'm no English major this is just my opinion. Oh, and by the way I don't ever eat at Mcdonalds anymore, don't like the food, don't like the prices but thats a debate for another day . Yay another post where Tsmetai doesn’t call me a moron. Remember: You Can't Stop the Virus! P.S Bin that means for you as well there is no antivirus software that can stop me
